Egypt changes import law for electric vehicles.

Only import of the actual model and model year will be allowed. A short term registration is not a problem. e.g. If you import during 2022 the model has to be 2022.

Egypts reach for EV is more then just questianable. The decision comes as part of the Egyptian state’s direction to encourage the national electric car industry. How would the world cry out, if Germany would only allow german produced vehicles?
